Per state statute, each year the city must designate certain commercial banks and financial institutions as approved
depositories for City funds and investments. The city currently utilizes two local banks and three investment brokers
to conduct business. See attached resolution for the full list of depositories.

RESOLUTION NO. 14999
DESIGNATION OF DEPOSITORIES OF CITY FUNDS
IN COMMERCIAL BANKS AND FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUTCHINSON, MINNESOTA:
THAT the following named banks and institutions, which are authorized to do a banking
business and act as depositories in Minnesota, be and they hereby are designated depositories
of the Public Funds of the City of Hutchinson in the County of McLeod, State of Minnesota, by the
City Council of said City, for the term commencing January 1, 2019, for one year:

agreement executed pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 118.01 and Section 475.66, and
THAT the City Administrator and Finance Director are authorized to sign documents
authorizing transfer of City of Hutchinson funds.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
THAT the Finance Director of the City of Hutchinson is hereby authorized and directed
to deposit in said banks and institutions in special funds to be known as "City of Hutchinson"
all monies that may come into his hands.

RESOLUTION NO. 14996
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING JOHN LOFDAHL FOR HIS YEARS OF SERVICE
AS A COUNCIL MEMBER TO THE RESIDENTS OF HUTCHINSON
WHEREAS, John Lofdahl has completed his term of office as a member of the Hutchinson City
Council; and
WHEREAS, John Lofdahl served on the Hutchinson City Council from January of 2015 through
December of 2018, serving the City for 4 years; and
WHEREAS, his outstanding and dedicated service has contributed much to the effective
functioning of city government; and
WHEREAS, John Lofdahl conducted himself as a council member with integrity and honor and
served the city well in his four years on the city council; and
WHEREAS, his many talents, leadership and dedicated service does not go unnoticed and will
be missed at future city council meetings.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of Hutchinson that the City of
Hutchinson, acting through its city council, does hereby express its appreciation and gratitude to
John Lofdahl for his outstanding leadership and dedicated service to the City of Hutchinson and
to the residents of Hutchinson and does hereby extend to him the very best wishes for the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be given to John Lofdahl so that
the City's appreciation will be conveyed directly to him.
