at the Paramount Theater in St. Cloud went well. The next trip up will be a May

popular. On May 22nd a group will travel to Hinckley to have lunch at Toby's and
tour the fire museum. This is a special tour in conjunction with the book that is
currently being read within our community that deals with the fire. The
renovated state capitol will be the focus of a June 13th outing with lunch at the
Cherokee Tavern and a stop at the Abdallah Candy Factory. The first tour sold
out so quickly that a second tour has been added for August 1st. On July 12th a
group will head to the Afton House Inn for lunch and a cruise on the St. Croix
river. The state fair trip will be held on August 31st
B. Update on Programs- September reported that this month's fellowship luncheon
will be held tomorrow evening. The meal will feature cabbage and ham. The
movie for this month was "Loving" and it brought out a lot of viewers. The
bonus movie was "British Gardens". Travel at a Glance is scheduled for May
15th and will feature a road trip to Key West and back. Mind, Body, Spirit, a
course put on by Arlis Feser, did not draw enough interest to be held. Tuesday
night ping pong gets 10-12 people per night. The May 1st volunteer luncheon has
30-35 signed up so far. On May 23rd the Senior Center will host a Red Hat and
Friends event at 10:00a. The card players are holding a "bridge basics" at 10:30a
on Thursdays. Kayaking begins on Tuesday, May 16th. On May 4th there will be
a medicare education seminar.

look like.
