Member absent: Gary Forcier (Council Representative)
Meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m. There was a quorum of members present.

Discussion and new business
LCCMR grant
• $30,000 over 2 years, approximately 220 trees in parks focused along hwy 7 trail corridor
• Utilizing local volunteer groups and groups provided by the DNR
• Pruning classes for volunteers set up by U of MN
• Watering classes
• Tree steward classes
Pruning
A little over 1100 boulevard trees over the winter completed in house with a private
contract on dale from 4t" around the corner on second down to main
Plant material will be here this Thursday and energy tree and boulevard tree planting will commence
soon
James Blommer silver maple removal on main (discuss?)
Encountering root issues in private sewer lines in front yards, thoughts on putting together a set of
solutions/options for homeowners. (companies that clean lines, companies that apply chemical
solutions, older line replacement with new PVC line, etc)
