All of these activities provided an additional $8874 to the Center. The report also showed that the Center had collected funds through the City in the amount of $5888. After covering the $4000 that the Senior Advisory Board had pledged toward the Center's budget revenue, there were enough funds to cover the internet, coffee, and fellowship costs which were paid for during the year by the City with $180 left over. Jeannette made a motion to accept the report with a second from Kay. The motion passed. IV. Old Business A. Watching the flying knives at a Japanese restaurant where the food is prepared while you watch was also very enjoyable. After lunch they will finish up with a tour of the Federal Reserve Bank. On February 22nd a group will attend a performance of "Camelot" at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater and this trip is sold out. Jeannette will be replacing Harriet Sturges who has completed her term. B. Spring Concert- Wayne Luchau will be doing a show on Saturday, April 8 t to benefit the Senior Center. A large group of volunteers will be needed as this activity will include a dinner which is served to the participants. D. Other Items- September threw out a few items for discussion. An electronic sign would be very nice for promoting particular events. She may be able to buy cardstock wholesale which would reduce a big cost for the card makers. River of Hope would like to purchase a new piano and use the current Event Center piano as a trade in. That would work as far as getting a better piano but the issue would be who would be the owner of the new piano and how the Center would receive value for the trade in if River of Hope claimed ownership. VI. Adjournment: Kay made a motion to adjourn at 11:22 am with a second from Warren. The motion passed.
