Regular Meeting.
March 11, 1968.
The regular meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was
held at the Hutchinson Utilities Billing Office on the 11th day
of March, 1968.
All Commissioners were present; also Supt. Kuiken, Dave Schmidt
and Carl Wardlow of .Associated Consultants.
The meeting was called to order by the President and the minutes
of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
Commissioner Filk moved that the Commission call for bids on a
Warehouse Building, based on specifications prepared by the
Superintendent, and that notice of the call for bids be published
in the Hutchinson Leader on Friday, March 15th and March 22nd, and
that said notice provide that bids will be received to April 8,1968
and opened by the Commission on April 8, 1968 at three o'clock P.M.
Motion was seconded by Commissioner Tracy and unanimously carried.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner
Filk to increase Supt. Kuiken's salary in the amount of $50.00 per
month, effective March 1, 1968. Motion was unanimously carried.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk and seconded by Commissioner
Tracy to transfer the Natural Gas Division checking account to the
First National Bank. Motion was unanimously carried.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner
Filk to increase the amount of firm gas to the Posner Plant, date of
contract to begin October 29, 1968, amount to be 900 MCF , making a
total of 1700 MCF demand charge and commoditq charge to be the same
as previous contract. Motion was unanimously carried.

Tracy to invest any surplus funds in Federal Securities. Motion
was unanimously carried.
There being no further business, motion was made by Commissioner Filk

was unanimously carried.
