Regular Meeting.
The regular meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was
held at the Hutchins on Utilities Billing Office on the 8th day
of January, 1968 at three O'clock P. M.
All Commissioners were present; also Supt. Kuiken.
The meeting was called to order by the President and the minutes
of the previous meetings were read and approved as read.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk and seconded by Commissioner
Tracy to accept the following wage increases :(effective January 19
1968.)
Ivan Larson -- $10.00
Wayne Schwaree - "'40.00
George Nelson o Monthly salary to be
$400.nn
Motion was unanimously carried.
Moti or. was made by Commissioner Filk and seconded by Commissioner
Tracy to call for bids on a pick -up truck.(Chassis and 'cab.)
Specifications to be published in the Hutchinson Leader on the
16th and 23rd of January, 1968. The bids received to be opened
at the regular February 12, 1968 meeting. Motion was unanimously
carried.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk and seconded by Commissioner
Tracy to invest any surplus funds in Federal Securities. Motion
was unanimously carried.

at the office of Supt. Young on January 12, 1968 at 10:00 P. M.
All Commissioners were present;
The following engineering companies submitted proposals for their
services for a Natural Gas Division Warehouse:
Pfeifer & Schultz, Inc.
Harlow Jennings
Associated Consultants
After a discussion a motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and
seconded by Commissioner Filk to accept the proposal submitted
by Associated Consultants as the cost was a great deal lower than
the other two proposals. Motion was unanimously carried.
