Special Meeting.
May 1, 1967.
A special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held
on May 1, 1967 at the Billing Office.
All Commissioners were present; also Supt. Kuiken, Ivan Larson and
Mayne Schwarze .
A new gas contract with Northern Natural Gas Company was discussed.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner
Filk to increase the contract by 1200 MCF for a total of 4300 MCF.
Motion was unanimously carried.
(On May 4, 1967 Hutchinson Utilities Commission requested 1200 MCF
additional contract demand for the 1968 -69 heating season -1000 MCF
firm gas to be used at Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Company
for their makers in processing and 200 MCF to be used for future
residential and commercial customers .firm load. This will bring
the total contract to 4300 MGF.)
