11-07-1966 HUCM125 . Monthly Meeting. November 7, 1966. The monthly meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held at the Billing Office on November 7, 1966 at 4:30 P. M. All members of the Commission were present; also Supt. Kuiken and Attorney C ome.r . Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as read. Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner Filk to offer firm gas to Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing C ompany with a Demand Charge of $3.25 per MCF and a C ommody Charge of $.40 per MCF (as stated in correspondence to M. M. & M. Co.) Gas to be used for one to five makers. Motion was unanimous - ly carried. Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner Filk to establish a sinking fund for the Natural Gas Division in the First National Bank, Hutchinson, Minnesota. Payments to start December 1, 1966 in the amount of $5,000.00 or more per month. Motion was unanimously carried. It was noted that the Federal Security of 40,129.56 would mature on November 25, 1966. Motion was made by Commissioner Tracer and seconded by Commissioner Filk to reinvest any of the security remaining after the bond and interest payment has been issued. This investment to be a Savings Certificate and to be considered part of the sinking fund. Motion was unanimously carried. A, monthly meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held on December 12, 1966 in the Hutchinson Utilities Billing Office. All Commissioners were present; also Supt. Kuiken and Secretary R. E. Young. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as read. The gas contract with Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing; Company was discussed. It was decided that Commissioner Tracy and Supt. Kuiken revise the present contract and present a new contract for the Commission t o act upon.
