Monthly Meeting.
The Hutchinson Utilities Commission of the City of Hutchinson met at
the Office of R. I. Sheppard, President at 1:15 P.M.
All Commissioners were present; also Supt. Orville Kuiken.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner
Quade to purchase material for the East gas extension thru to Kablets
Furniture & Carpet.
3" gas line from Rockite Silo on North side of Highway
#7 to Carrs, then crossing Highway to the South side
using 2" pipe to Kablets store.
Quotations received from the following for pipe:
Central Supply, Company 3,720.61
A. Y. McDonald Mfg. Company 39327.24
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner
Quade to accept the lower bid, that being the bid of A. Y. McDonald
Mfg. Company. The motion was unanimously carried.
