Regular Meeting
February 24, 1992
Commissioners Lyke, Beatty and Cornell were present; Commissioners
Daggett and Richards were absent; also present were Mgr. Kadrmas
and Counsel Prochnow.
Vice President Lyke called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m.
The minutes of January 27,. 1992 regular meeting were reviewed. A
motion was made by Commissioner Beatty, seconded by Commissioner
Cornell to accept the minutes as written. Motion was unanimously
carried.
The January payables were discussed. A motion was made by Commissioner
Cornell, seconded by Commissioner Beatty to accept the January
payables in the amount of $1,248,976.62 (detailed listing in payables
book). Motion was unanimously carried.
The 1992 year -to -date (thru January) financial and budget reports
were reviewed. A motion was made by Commissioner Beatty, seconded
by Commissioner Cornell to accept the financial and budget reports.
Motion was unanimously carried.
Mgr. Kadrmas presented recommendations on quotations (copy attached)
for wire. After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner
Cornell, seconded by Commissioner Beatty to approve the following
recommendations:
15,000' Sweet Briar 4/0- 2/0 -4/0 Border States $10,063.50
18,000' 1/0 15KV Border States 14,436.00
Motion was unanimously carried.
Manager's Report:
1. Presented quotations for replacement of truck #16. The quotes
are as follows:
Thane Hawkins Polar Chevrolet $ 9,500.00
Myron Wigen Motor Company 11,855.80
Plowman's Inc. 10,276.70
After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Beatty,
seconded by Commissioner Cornell to award the quote to Thane
Hawkins Polar Chevrolet in the amount of $9,500. Motion was
unanimously carried.

2. Presented quotations for replacement of truck #1. The quotes
are as follows:

After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Cornell,
seconded by Commissioner Beatty to award the quote to Thane
Hawkins Polar Chevrolet in the amount of $12,817. Motion
was unanimously carried.
3. Presented quotations for replacement of truck #8. The quotes
are as follows:
Coon Rapids Chrysler Plymouth $11,914.00
Plowman's Inc. 14,349.02
Myron Wigen Motor Company 14,028.95
After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Cornell,
seconded by Commissioner Beatty to award the quote to Coon
Rapids Chrysler Plymouth in the amount of $11,914. Motion
was unanimously carried.
4. Was contacted by Crime Prevention Program to contribute to
advertising (drug awareness). After discussion, a motion was
made by Commissioner Cornell, seconded by Commissioner Beatty
to contribute $75 for advertisement for Crime Prevention
Program (drug awareness). Motion was unanimously carried.

There being no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner
Beatty, seconded by Commissioner Cornell to adjourn the meeting
at 1:40 p.m. Motion was unanimously carried.
