12-17-1990 HUCM33 --� tl Regular Meeting December 17, 1990 All Commissioners were present; also present were Mgr. Kadrmas and Counsel Prochnow. President Daggett called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. The minutes of November 30, 1990 regular meeting were reviewed. A motion was made by Commissioner Cornell, seconded by Commissioner Lyke to accept the minutes as written. Motion was unanimously carried. Mgr. Kadrmas presented a request for bids for a new digger derrick and cab and chassis for the new digger derrick. After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Cornell, seconded by Commissioner Beatty to advertise for bids, to open the bids on January 23, 1991 and to award the bid on January 28, 1991. Motion was unanimously carried. Mgr. Kadrmas presented replacement for truck #13 specifications. After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Lyke, seconded by Commissioner Cornell to accept the specifications, to advertise for bids, to open the bids on January 22, 1991 and to award the bid on January 28, 1991. Motion was unanimously carried. Mgr. Kadrmas presented a request for bids for boiler tubes for unit #8. After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Cornell, seconded by Commissioner Beatty to advertise for bids, to open the bids on January 23, 1991 and to award the bid on January 28, 1991. Motion was unanimously carried. Mgr. Kadrmas presented a request for bids for 15KV cable for Shopko project. After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Beatty, seconded by Commissioner Richards to advertise for bids, to open the bids on January 22, 1991 and to award the bid on January 28, 1991. Motion was unanimously carried. Wally Hombach, Ivan Larson and "Butch" Wentworth were welcomed to the meeting. The three department superintendents updated the Commission on 1990 projects. Mgr. Kadrmas reviewed the retention of records policy changes. A motion was made by Commissioner Cornell, seconded by Commissioner Beatty to approve the changes to the retention of records policy. Motion was unanimously carried. 13y Manager's Report: 1. Received correspondence from the VFW asking for a contribution for a safety coloring book (say no to drugs). After discussion, it was decided we would not make a contribution. 2. Discussed Christmas dollars sponsored by Marquette Bank. After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Lyke, seconded by Commissioner Beatty to accept Christmas dollars from Marquette Bank for payment of utility bills and to follow the limitations set up by Marquette Bank.
