All Commissioners were present: also present were Mgr. Kadrmas,
Counsel 0 ochnow, Don Swanson of Associated Consultants, Ruth
Hakel andiSue Winter.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
3:15 p.m.',

called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
The purpo
e of the meeting was to discuss pending litigation
against Wright
County regarding an abatement for 1988 taxes
on properlty
owned under the Integrated Transmission Agreement.
Counsel PPochnow's request for an abatement was declined by
Wright County as Hutchinson Utilities' request was untimely.
Mgr. KadrOas
gave a history report relative to Hutchinson
Utilities
power agreements. After discussion, it was the
consensus,of
opinion to continue the investigation with
United Po�er
Association.
A motion
Was made by Commissioner Beatty, seconded by
Commissioner Cornell authorizing Counsel Prochnow to pursue
working with Wright County to settle the tax abatement issue.
Motion was unanimously carried.
A motion
vas made by Commissioner Beatty, seconded by
Commissioner
Lyke authorizing Associated Consultants to
work with
management on purchased power options. A report
will be s
bmitted to the Commission at the January regular
meeting.
Motion was unanimously carried.
