All Commissioners were present; also present was Mgr. Hakel.
President Daggett called the meeting to order at 7:00 a.m.
The purpose of the meeting was to interview applicants for the
position of general manager.
Commissioner Beatty and Commissioner Cornell had preliminary
interviews with all applicants. After interviewing all applicants,
they asked Clarence Kadrmes from Willmar Municipal Utilities,
"Butch" Wentworth and Ivan Larson to come for a second interview
with the entire Commission.
Dave Schmidt of Associated Consultants was welcomed to the
meeting. He presented specifications for a 15 MVA transformer.
A motion was made by Commissioner Beatty, seconded by Commissioner
Lyke to accept the transformer specifications, to advertise
for bids on August 11, 1988 and August 18, 1988, to open the bids
on September 15, 1988 and to award the bid on September 26, 1988.
Motion was unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
8:50 a.m.
