Special Meeting
May 14, 1987
All Commissioners were present; also present were Mgr. Hakel, "Butch"
Wentworth, Jane Hodgins, Hutchinson Leader staff writer and Sue
Winter.
President Daggett called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss comparable worth.
A motion was made by Commissioner Lyke, seconded by Commissioner
Beatty to obtain outside consultation. Motion was unanimously
carried.
Resumes from two consulting firms were presented (copy attached).
After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Lyke, seconded
by Commissioner Beatty to engage the services of Arthur Young
Company. Motion was unanimously carried. A motion was made by
Commissioner Beatty, seconded by Commissioner Lyke to authorize
Mgr. Hakel to execute Arthur Young Company's contract for services.
Motion was unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at
7:55 a.m.
