Special Meeting
March 17, 1987
All Commissioners were present; also present were Mgr. Hakel,
Counsel Peterson, Ancher Nelsen, Ivan Larson, Jane Hodgins,
Hutchinson Leader staff writer and Sue Winter.
President Daggett called the meeting to order at 7:00 a.m.
The special meeting was called to discuss possible ways of
expediting the release of liens held by REA against property
owned by United Power Association.
After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Beatty,
seconded by Commissioner Lyke to engage the services of
Ancher Nelsen for the purpose of either calling the REA
office or to travel to Washington, D.C. to initiate any
action needed for the release. Motion was unanimously
carried.
The March regular meeting will be held on March 24, 1987 at
7:00 a.m.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner
Beatty, seconded by Commissioner Lyke to adjourn the meeting at
7:15 a.m. Motion was unanimously carried.
