Special Meeting
April 18, 1980
All Commissioners were present, also present was Mgr. Alexander.
The meeting was called to order at 11:15 a.m. by President
Quade.
The purpose of the meeting was to take final action on the
bids for a truck opened April 11, 1980.
Mgr. Alexander presented some facts relative to weights of
items to be hauled. The Commission was in agreement that the
unit being considered should be satisfactory.
On a motion by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk
that the low bid of Wigen Chevrolet and Chas. Olson & Sons in
the amount of $32,386.07 plus an additional $100.00 for, a,d?:op
tailgate. The motion carried unanimously. The secretary was
instructed to return bid bonds and checks to the unsuccessful
bidders. '
Mgr. Alexander informed the Commission of the upcoming
Minnesota Municipal Utilities Association meeting at
Anoka, Minnesota, on April 23, 24 & 25, 1980.
There being no further business, the.meeting adjourned at
11:30 a.m.
