December 17, 1979
All Commissioners were present, also present were Mgr. Alexander,
Ruth Hakel and Wally Homb ach.
The meeting was called to order at 2 :00 p.m. by President
Quade.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 15, 1979,
were accepted as presented.
Prior to the meeting, the members of the Commission and Mgr.
Alexander met at the downtown generating plant and were given
a tour under the guidance of Wally Homb ach, the Production
Superintendent.
Supt. Hombach appeared at the meeting to present what he
has been doing at the plant and where he is going. After
his presentation and discussion, the Commission commended
him on his progressive program.
Mgr. Alexander presented the following items:
A letter from Burlington Northern concerning the
removal of certain yard trackage. The Commission
expressed no objection to the request.
Discussed applicant electrical engineer, Syed Pervaiz.
Mgr. Alexander was instructed to continue negotiating
with him.
Discussed the Robins, Davis & Lyons contract. The
Commission is in agreement with it.
Discussed the American Public Power Association
annual meeting in Washington, D.C. on May 5 -7, 1980.
Ruth Hakel was instructed to make reservations for
the manager and the Commission.
Ruth Hakel presented the need for a separate petty
cash fund of $200 to cover meter deposit refunds.
A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by.
Commissioner Tracy that $200 be put in the special
fund. The motion carried.

After a review of staff wages, a motion was made by Commissioner
Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy to increase the salaries
as follows:
The motion carried
In addition to the salaries, discussion took place on a Loss of
Pay Insurance. More information was requested and action will
be taken at the next regular meeting.
The next regular meeting was set for January 7, 1980.
