June 22, 1979
A special meeting of the Commission was held in the
Commissioners' Room at 10:00 a.m. Commissioners Quade
and Filk, Rufus Alexander, Lawrence Zelle, Richard
Peterson were present. Commissioner Tracy was absent.
Discussions were held regarding alternatives to offer
Curtiss - Wright representatives for the upcoming meeting
to be held on June 26, 1979.
The following are alternatives:
(1) Rescind contract.
(2) Place unit back in condition at Curtiss 'Wright cost.
(3) Replace gas turbine with new rebuilt Rolls Royce
and replace power turbine with. Rolls Royce turbine.
The following rates for legal services were presented by Attorney
Zelle:
$ 75.00 per hour Robert Watson (up thru 6- 26 -79)
$125.00 per hour Lawrence Zelle (up thru 2- 26 -79)
If the case is settled on June 26, 1979, the hourly
rate would be expected plus $10,000.00.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:00 a.m.
