Special Meeting
July 19, 1978
All Commissioners Were present, also Mgr. Alexander and
Counsel Peterson.
President Qaade called the meeting to order at 3:30-pcm.
The meeting was called to consider the latest Vnimn
proposal. Commissioner Filk and Counsel Peterson reported
the latest proposal from the Union included entering into
a two and one -half (2 112) year contract, allowing eight
hours pay at time and one -half (in addition to overtime
workedY instead of seven for standby pay, and a 9%
increase in salary for the first 6 months, 9% for
the next year and 10% for the final year of the contract.
A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by
Commissioner Tracy to accept the Union proposal as
presented. After discussion, the motion carried
unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned
at 4:00 p.m.
