Special Meeting
October 17, 1977
All Commissioners were present, also present was
Mgr. Alexander.
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 p.m. by President
Quade.
The meeting was called for the purpose of opening pick -up
truck bids. The secretary was instructed to open bids by
the president.
Plowman's (Bid Bond 5 %) $4,358•oo
Trails End (check in amount of $210.00) $4,192.00
Wigen Chevrolet (Bid Bond) $4,233.00
Wm -dames Auto (Bid Bond) $4,195.00
A rear bumper was not called for in the specifications
but were offered as follows
Trails End at $48,00 additional
Wm -dames Auto at $45.00 additional
Wigen Chevrolet included in the bid
Plowman's did not offer same
A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by
Commissioner Tracy and carried to accept the bid from
Wigen Chevrolet for a 1/2 ton pick -up with bumper
included for the amount of $4,240.00 with delivery
in approximately 45 days.
Wages of certain employees were discussed. A motion was
made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner
Filk and carried to place Donald Merkins on staff at a
yearly wage of $15,267.20 as of November 1, 1977.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned
at 3:00 P.M.
