Regular Meeting
January 10, 1977
All Commissioners were present, also Mgr. Alexander, Ruth
Hakel, Bill Marquardt, and Don Schimp.
The meeting was called to order at 2 :00 p.m. by President
Quade.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 17, 1976, were
read and approved as read.
The minutes of the Special Meeting of December 28, 1976, were
read and approved as read.
Bill Marquardt appeared with a report on the need to repair
the 112 generator to maintain our maximum demand rate. No
action was taken.
Council Peterson and Gilmer, along with Bob Weinstein and
Steve Tourek of Oppenheimer, et al., appeared concerning
the Worthington lawsuit. After much discussion, it was
decided to approach a representative of the Worthington
Corporation in regard to an out of court settlement.
A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy and carried to pay the following bills:
Paul Lemke and Son Est. #8 $ 3,713.40
Harold K. Scholz Company Est. #4 $15,300.00
Associated Consultants $ 9,127.78
A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy and carried to send the Utilities manager and one
Commissioner to the International Gas Turbine Conference in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, March 27 thru the 31st, 1977-
A motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner
Filk and carried to transfer the account number presently at
the Citizens Bank to the First State Federal Savings and Loan.
