Monthly Meeting.
The regular monthly meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission
was held June 10 1959 at the office of Dr. R. I. Sheppard.
All Commissioners were present.
Minutes of the last monthly meeting were read and approved as read.
Motion was made and seconded to pay the interest of 782.00 owing
on the note at the Citizens Bank.
Motion was made and seconded to renew the note in the amount of
$20..000.00 at,the Citizens Bank.
Motion was made and seconded to issue a check in the amount of
$10,000.00 to the Citizens Bank, thus decreasing the principal
of our note to 10,000.00.
Motion was made and seconded to issue a check in the amount of
$173.25 to the Central National Bank & Trust Company, Des Moines,
Iowa, representing services of paying agent ( Revenue Bonds) for
the period 6 -2 -58 through 6 -1 -59.
Motion was made and seconded to issue a check in the amount of
$4,550.00 to the Central National Bank & Trust Company, Des Moines,
Iowa, representing interest due on $260,000.00 Revenue Bonds
outstanding.
Motion was made and seconded to purchase from Fire & Safety, Inc.
6 fire extinguishers in the amount of $163.64.
Motion was made by A. J. Thompson that the Savings Account of
the Hutchinson Utilities Commission at Citizens Bank, Hutchinson,
Minnesota, be closed out and that it be re- deposited in the said
Citizens Bank, Hutchinson, Minnesota, in accounts as follows;:
Six month Savings Certificate @ 2% - $60,000.00
Six month Savings Certificate @ 2% - 10,000.00
Sinking Fund Checking Account - 292117.68
Also that as periodic deposits are made, the same to credited to
the Sinking Fund Checking Account.
This motion was seconded by R. W. Dahl and carried unanimously.
