Special Meetings
A special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was
held at the office of Dr. R. I. Sheppard at 12;00 o'clock noon
on April 21, 1959.
All Commissioners were present.
Motion was made and seconded to issue a check to the Citizens
Bank in the amount of $lopOOO.00, this payment to be applied
against the principal on our note, decreasing the principal
to $20,000.00.
Motion was made and seconded to accept the resignation of
William Mayer.
Whereas, the Hutchinson Utilities Commission of the City of
Hutchinson has on this date, to -wit, April 21, 1959 been
advised that a bill identified as House File No. 1845 was
duly passed on April 182 1959 by the House of Representatives
and by the Senate of the State of Minnesota in the 61st session
thereof and which said bill has been duly signed by the
Governor of the State of Minnesota.
CHAPTER 524--------- - - - - -- House File No. 1845
An act to authorize the Hutchinson Utilities
Commission of the City of Hutchinson to issue
and sell revenue bonds to provide money to con-
struct a city gas distribution system.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State
of Minnesota:
Section 1.
The Hutchinson Utilities Commission of the City
of Hutchinson is hereby authorized to issue and
sell negotiable coupon revenue bonds,in a total
amount not exceeding $650,000 in order to pro -
vide money to construct or otherwise acquire a
city gas plant and distribution system including
the power to purchase gas, natural or otherwise,
said bonds to be payable solely from the revenues
from such gas distribution system, and to make
the usual and necessary convenants for the
security of said bonds and all proceedings here-
tofore taken by the said Commission in the
issuance and sale of such bonds are hereby
validated.
Section 2.
This act shall be in full force and effect when
approved by the governing body of sA.id city.

unanimously, with all members of the Commission present, at
a special meeting of said Hutchinson Utilities Commission

the City Attorney of the City of Hutchinson by reason .of the
fact that the form of certificate to be perscribed by the
Attorney General of the State of Minnesota is unprepared and
