REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 6, 1957
The regular meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held
on the above date at the office of Dr. R. I. Sheppard with all commis-
sioners present. One, E. A. Pederson, representing Schneider Electric
and Equipment Company was present. One. Harold Schultz was also present,
representing the said Schneider Electric and Equipment Company.
Motion was made, seconded and unanimously carried that the Commission
elect to omit the two Model MWC -600 Young radiators included in the
proposal, the price will be reduced $12,100.00; and in addition thereto
elect to take the price reduction showin in sub - paragraph 4 of paragraph
2 in the sum of $2,150.00, which election rights were reserved and granted
to the Commission by letter of Nordberg Manufacturing Company dated March
25, 1957.
Motion was made, seconded and carried that the Commission purchase from
Schneider Electric and Equipment Company an radiator cooling equipment
for the sum of $12,100.00, less credit of $4,100.00 trade -in allowance
for a second -hand 1,000 KVA transformer, all of which more fully appears
from a certain contract relating thereto, on file in the office of the
Commission.

by Commissioner
Dahl that the bid of E. A. Pedersen Co., of $11,900 for furnishing
all labor and material for the electrical work on the
new Nordberg
generating unit, which will replace the existing #1 unit, be accepted.

Motion was made by Colmi `stoner
Dahl and seconded by Commissioner
Thompson to contribute Y o General Fund of the ity of
Hutchinson.
This. amount brings the yearly contribution to UO$000.00.
