Special Meeting
April 13, 1956.
A special meeting of the Light & Power Commission was held
in Dr. R. I. Sheppard's office on the afternoon of April
thirteenth.
Commissioners Sheppard and Dahl, Phil Graf and Ed Boeker
were present.
Motion was made and seconded to write a letter to the Nordberg
Manufacturing Company. This letter to state that the new V-
Nordberg had been accepted by the Commission. The letter was
written and mailed on the 13th of April.
Motion was rude and seconded to contribute to the General
Fund of the City of Hutchinson a check in the amount of $16,054.04.
Motion was made and seconded to issue a check to Pedersen Electric
Company in the amount of $9,204.47 -- $4,900.00 being part - payment
of M.M.M. Line Ext, $4,304.47 switchboard ext.
Motion was made and seconded to issue checks totaling $23,063.78
to Nordberg Manufactuting Company. This amount pays the engine
contract in full.
Illotion was made and seconded to grant Ruth Hakel, Ruth Schoettmer
and Ruth Nick a $10.00 per month increase in salary* This increase
to be effective as of April 1, 1956.
