10-03-1955 HUCM(33) 35 October 3, 1955 Monthly Meeting The regular monthly meetinE of the Light & Power Commission was held on October 31 1955 at 5;00 P. M. The meeting was held at; the office of Dr. R. I. Sheppard. All Commissioners were present. Iviinutes of the last monthly- meeting were read and approved. A letter, which had been signed by some of the Municipal Electric Plant employees, was read. This letter asked the Commission to consider their request for a 44 hour work week. Motion was made and seconded that their request be given careful consideration. Motion was made and seconded that Hugo IIahs be paid the sum of '9100 for extra services in connection with the gas survey required in the preparation of engineering data and-exhibits to be presented before the Federal Power Commission. Iviotion was made and seconded to issue a check to Cliff Betker in the amount of X900.00, this beint; part payment on the pump house contract. Motion was made and seconded to issue a check to Betker Construction Company in the amount of ,`'3,060.00 and to E. A. Pedersen Company in the amount of 900.00. These amounts representing-; part pal,Ment on contracts.
