05-10-1976 HUCMRegular Meeting May 10, 1976 Commissioners Filk and Tracy were present; President Quade was absent; also present were Ruth Hakel, I7Tan Larson, and "Butch" Wentworth. Vice President Filk called the meeting to order at 2 p.m. The minutes of the Regular Meeting held April 12, 1976, were read and approved as read. The minutes of the Special Meeting of April 20, 1976, were read and approved as read. The minutes of the Special Meeting of May LE, 1976, were read and approved as read. A motion was made by Commissioner. Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk, and carried, to allow the following bills: Peterson & Gilmer Re Worthington $598.55 Peterson & Gilmer Re Retainer 46.56 Mr. Bruce Reuss, a representative of the Region 6 Community Action appeared explaining their Home Winterization Program. The Commission expressed a desire to cooperate with the program. Ivan Larson. appeared concerning some of the problems experienced with the Cathodic Protection System. A letter from Wallace and Tiernan contained suggested measures to follow in overcoming the problems. This report was for Commission information. "Butch" Wentworth appeared concerning a schedule on Natural Gas Service Calls. After consideralle discussion, the schedule was modified. The motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk, and carried, to adopt the schedule as modified. NATURAL GAS SERVICE CALLS Service Provided at NO CHARGE: 1. Gas smell or gas leak detection. 2. Testing and inspection of gas piping and installations. Services to be raid by customer, material and labor included: 1. Lighting pilot lights = $7.00 2. Thermocouple replacement only = $7.00 plus material Conversion of appliances or equipment to Natural Gas during :00 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays, normal labor rates,-as listed below. Those converted before 8:00 AM or after 5:00 PM, or on weekends and holidays, double time. Rates: lst 1/2 hr. 2nd 112 hr. Each hour the billed in 1/4 Minimum Bill $7.00 $5.00 reafter = $9.00 per hr. hr. increments. $7.00 plus material Any maintenance or repair, other than thermocouple replacement, must be made by your plumbing and heating company.
