Special Meeting
October 8, 1962.
A special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held on
October 8, 1962 at 5:00 P. M. at the offLice of Dr. R. I. Sheppard.
All Commissioners were present.
Motion was made and seconded to cash a portion ($60,000) of the
$100,000 Treasury Bill, which would ordinarily mature 11- 29 -62. The
motion was unanimously carried.
The resignation of Ruth Nelson, effective October 31st, 1962, was
received and accepted.
The following bids were received for the concrete work at the
Electric Plant Garage.;
Miller & Miller
We propose to furnish labor and materials
for concrete work at the Municipal Garage,
Curbs at each end of the building, concrete
platform about 124 x 50, approximately
1500 square feet of sidewalk, two drive-
ways, expansion joints and gravel fill
under the slab to proper elevatrion, wire -
mesh all for the sum of Four Thousand Six
Hundred Ten Dollars. 4,610.00
Betker Construction Company
Bid Proposal on Concrete work.
6,820 ft. 5" Concrete DriveWay & Sidewalk -
6 x 6 -10 -10 mesh 2,750.00
2 driveways 20 ft. wide with curb edges
Curb along East & West side of Drive to
building from sidewalk 720.00
Addtional sidewalk @ 35 3,470.00

Motion was made and seconded to accept the bid of Bet ker Construction
Company. The motion was unanimously carried.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
