Resolution 77 Asper resolution #1000 adopted 11 -29 -06 Numbering resolutions from 1936 - 2006 For search purposes only R E S O L U T I O N TO ACCEPT PROPOSAL - IN EMERGENCY "RESOLVED, That, whereas Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Company has installed additional equipment and contemplates the installation of still more additional equipment in the immediate future, the demand for electric energy has increased to such an extent that present equipment is inadequate to meet their demands, and , WHEREAS, infcmmation furnished .regarding the condition at Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Company establishes the exist- ence of an emergency situation, NOW, TFFRETORE, it-is hereby resolved that the quotation from E. A. Pedersen Company, Inc. of 1049 South Twentieth Street, Omaha 8, Nebraska, as set forth in their quotation of December 26, 1963 is accepted for the furnishing of the required labor and material for the complete job of furnishing and installing the equipment at the power plant for a new feeder circuit to serve Minnesota Mining & Prlanufac tur ing Company for the total price of $8,960.00. The Superintendent, R. E. Young, is authorized and directed to accept the quotation from the E. A. Pedersen Company, Inc. and to hurry the installation in any way possible." Adoption of the f cregoing Resolution was moved by Commissioner Howard P. Quade, seconded by Commissioner R. I. Sheppard and unanimously carried by the members of the Commission at the meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission held at the new garage and service building) on January 3, 1964 at 3 P. M. R.
