02-13-1967 HUCM1 1 1 Special Meeting. February 10, 1967. 49. A special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held on February 10, 1967 at the Hutchinson Utilities Billing Office at 2:00 P. M. All Commissioners were present; also R. E. Young, Secretary, D. 0. Comer, attorney and Jack Patterson, representative of Pfeifer and Shultz, Inc. Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner Filk to accept the Plans & Specifications presented by Pfeifer and 9hult-z, Inc. for Alterations to the Municipal Power Plant. ( Sealed bids -to be called for on Larch -15, 1967.) Motion was unanimously carried Motion was made by Commissioner Filk and seconded by Commissioner Tracy to advertise for bids in the Hutchinson Leader (four times) on the remodeling of the power plant building. Motion was unanimously carried. There being no further business-, motion was made by Commissioner Filk and seconded by Commissioner Tracy that the meeting be adjourned. The regular meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held at the Hutchinson Utilities Billing Office on the 13th day of February, 1967 at five o'clock P. M. All Commissioners were present; also Suptt. Young. The meeting was called to order by the President and the minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read. Motion was made by Commissioner, Tracy and seconded by Commissioner Filk to contribute $47,540.00 to the General Fund of the City of Hutchinson. This amount brings, the total contribution for the fiscal year to 100,000.00. Motion was unanimously carried. Motion was made by Commissioner Filk and seconded by Commissioner Tracy to invest $25,000.00 in a Federal Securtrity. Motion was unanimously carried. The f ollowing bills were allowed: 48.
