Special Meeting July 7, 1969 1 1 A special meeting of the Hutehimon Utilities Commission was held at the Hutchinson Utilities Billing Office on the 7th day of July, 1969. All Commissioners were present. Motion was made by Commissioner Filk and seconded by Commissioner Tracy to pay the extra charge of$2,009.00 to the State Farm & Casualty Company. This extra charge due to an oversight in the specifications for bids on insurance. The bid belonging to State Farm' & Casualty Company did not include "X, C or Ut'. ( X indicating explosion, C-- collapse and U -- underground property damage.) Motion was unanimously carried. A request was made by the Worthington Company to have a test run on Units #3 and #4 for the purpose of determining the acceptance of the engines. After the test, Worthington would write a letter guarantying to correct any difficulties at their expense. Motion was Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk, not to the units until all problems were corrected. Motion was ac ce pt ed There being no further business, the meeting be adjourned. Young, Secretary. 1 F a RESOLUTION NO. 2960 RESOLUTION TO SELL PROPERTY WHEREAS, the City of Hutchinson does own the hereinafter described real estate located in the City of Hutchinson, County of McLeod, to -wit All that part of Blocks 19 and 20, North Half of City of Hutchinson, - Minnesota described as follows: Lots Nine (9) and Light (8) ` and a strip of land one rod in width off' the South side if Lot Seven (7) in Block Twenty (20) in the North Half of Hutchinson according to the plat of the North Half of Hutchinson on file in the Office of the Register of Deeds in and for the County of McLood. .Together with: All of Lot Five (5) in Block Twenty (20) in the North Half of the City of Hutchinson according to the plat thereof now on file and of record in the Office of the Register of Deeds in and for McLeod County, Minne- sota, save and except that portion of said Lot Five (5) described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot Five (S), thence in an Easterly direction along the North boundary line of said Lot Five (5) to the Northeast corner of said Lot Five (5); thence in a Southerly direction along the East boundary line of said Lot Five (5), 122 feet; thence in a Westerly direction in a straight line to a point on the West boundary line of said Lot Five (5) which said point is 113 feet South of the Northwest corner of said Lot Five (5) ; thence in a Northerly direction along said West boundary line- of , said Lot Five (5) to th�oint Together with All that part of Block 19 and those parts of Lots 111 2, 3 and 4, Block 20, North Half of the City of Hutchinson, according to the plat thereof on file or of record in the Office of the Register of Deeds in and for the County of McLeod, State of Minnesota, which lie southerly of a line parallel with and distant southerly 25 feet, measured at right angles thereto, from the center line of the main track of the Grantor, together with that portion of the vacated street lying between said blocks, containing approximately 4.S acres, subject, however, to a pipe line easement previously granted across said blocks 19 and 20. Subject to restrictions, covenants and easements of record, if any. and, WHEREAS, the Hutchinson Utilities Commission desires the use of said land .for their gas and light operations; - - -_ -NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUTCHINSON, MINNESOTA: That the City of Hutchinson proper, having no further use for the above described property and it being in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Hutchinson that said property be transferred to the Hutchinson Utilities Commission, that the City of Hutchinson shall convey title to said property to the Hutchinson Utilities Commission and the Mayor and City Clerk shall and are authorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed to that effect.
