May 17, 1972.
A special meeting; of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission
was held on May 17, 1972 at 2 :00 P. M. in the Hutchinson
Utilities meeting place.
All Commissioners were present; also Manager Steve Wacker,
Superintendent Orville Kuiken, Richard Peterson, Attorney
for the Commission and Mr. Thomnson, a representative of
the engineering firm of Pfeifer & Shultz.
Mr. B. W. Thompson presented a -or.eliminary set of specifica-
tions for the proposed propane -air gas plant.
After detailed discussion regarding; the specifications, a
motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Co-imiss-
loner Traev and unanimously carried to adopt the prints and
spec if icat ions as amended.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by
Commissioner Filk and unanimously carried to advertise
for bids . Advert isment for bids to be published in
the Hutchinson Leader on May 19, 1972 and May 26, 1972;
also in the Construction Bulletin May 25, 1972 issue.

A request for project payment #14 in the amount of
$14,564.03 and invoice totaling $262.66 to R. L. Vogt,
Inc. was received, payment was approved by Associated
Consultants. Motion was made by Commissioner Filk,
seconded by Commissioner Tracy, and unanimously carried
to allow payment of $14,826.69.

1972, and publicly opened and con-
sidered at 2:00 P. M., on the same day,
for furnishing, delivering, erecting and
placing in commercial operation a pro-
pane -air gas plant on Utility property
adjacent to the Northern Natural Gas
Company's border station serving
Hutchinson, Minnesota, all in strict ac-
cordance with the plans and specifica-
tions as prepared by Pfeifer and
Shultz, Inc., Engineers, Minneapolis,
Minnesota, 55416, and as are on file
with the Hutchinson Utilities Commis-
sion of the City of Hutchinson, Hutch-
inson, Minnesota.
Copies of the plans and specifications
may be obtained from the Engineer on
deposit of the sum of Fifty Dollars
($50.00) each.
Each proposal shall be accompanied
by a cash deposit, a certified check or
bid bond made payable to the Hutchin-
son Utilities Commission, of the City
of Hutchinson, Hutchinson, Minnesota,
in the amount of ten percent (10 %) of
the bid, as a guarantee that the bidder
will enter into the proposed contract
within the time specified.
