June 14, 1972
The regular meeting of the Hutcbinson Utilities Commission
having been recessed until 10:30 otclock A. M. on June 14,
1972 was called to order by the President, for the purpose
of taking care of unfinished business.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy, and unanimously carried to accept the bid submitted by
Energy Systems, Inc., Eden Prairie, Minnesota, in the amount of
$136,300.00, for construction of a propane -air gas plant according
to plans and specifications prepared by Pfeifer and Shultz, Inc.,
Engineers, Minneapolis, Minnesota, subject, however, to amend-
ment thereto which shall provide that 12,000.00 shall. be with
held from final payment pending proof of satisfactory experience
with vaporizer, and to authorize the execution of the contract
documents by the President and Secretpry of the Commission.
Motion was made by Commiss'.nner Filk. seennded by Commissioner
Tracy, and unanimo,.?sly carried to approve the May 8, 10, and
17th minutes as read.
Motion wss made by Commissioner Filk, seconded bir Commissioner
Tracy and unarimoizsly carried to accept $4,,300 from Goebel
Fixture Company in payment of the fcl.7_owing described property:
All of Lot f our (4) , Block one (1) ,
Harrington Subdivision of Lot seventy
and seventy -one (70, 71) of Lynn
Addition to Hutchinson, Minnesota
excepting therefrom the East 177'
thereof also conveying all of the
vacated portion of Division Avenue
lyinm immediately South Of the above
described property.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy, and unanimously carried to purchase iron removal equip-
ment for the cooling tower.
