SPWIAL MEETING
April 23, 1973
A Special Meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was held on April 23,
1973 at 2 :00 P. M. in the Hutchinson Utilities meeting place.
All Commissioners were present; also Manager Steve Wacker and Superintendent
Orville Kuil en.
The meeting was called to order by President Quade at 2:00 P. M.
The secretary was instructed to open the two bids which had been received
for coated and wrapped pipe.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk and
unanimously carried to reject the bids submitted from Crane Supply Company
and Adams Supply Company as a result that neither complied with specifications.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy and
unanimously carried to advertise for bids for gas pipe. Sealed bids will
be received at the Hutchinson Utilities Commission's office, 22 Main Street
North, until 2:00 o'clock P. M. on May 7, 1973.

Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner'Tracy
and unanimously carried to set the first Monday of May for the regular
monthly meeting instead of the second Monday of the month.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy
and unamimously carried to allow final payment to E. J. Pinske Company
of Gaylord, Minnesota in the amount of $500.00

Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk
and unanimously carried to allow expenses for the Commission and Manager
to attend the American Public Power Association annual conference to be
held in New Orleans, La. on May 14 -16, 1973.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy
and unanimously carried to adjourn the meeting at 3:00 P. M.
