REGULAR MEETING
December 10, 1973
A regular meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was
held on December 10, 1973, in the Hutchinson Utilities meeting
place at 2:00 PM.
All Commissioners were present; also Manager Steve Wacker and
Counsel Gilmer.
Report was given by Counsel Gilmer on the Union-meeting in
Glencoe, Tuesday, December 11, 1973 at 10:00 AM.
A report was also given by Counsel Gilmer on Worthington -Allis
Chalmers.
Minutes of the regular meeting of November 12, 1973 were read
and approved as read.
Manager Wacker presented the Hutchinson Utilities Annual Report
of 1973.
Discussion followed concerning a letter from Associated Con-
sultants to General Electric Company of December 4, 1973 - no
decision was made.
Manager Wacker presented a letter from Associated Consultants
to Mr. John DeWild concerning an agreement with McLeod Co -op
Power Association. A meeting is proposed by board members of
the above mentioned and the Utilities Commission.
A letter from the City of Hutchinson and a total insurance pack-
age for City employees was discussed. After discussion a motion
was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy
and unaimously carried to submit information relative to insurance
coverage on a blanket policy with the City of Hutchinson.
A letter from Amoco Food Company laying out their future needs
was read.
Manager Wacker recommended that a study or survey by conducted
on our electrical system for future expansion - no action taken.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy and seconded by Commissioner
Filk and unanimously carried to send Manager Wacker and Supt.

Kuiken to a meeting on December 13, 1973 with Northern
Natural Gas at Omaha, Nebraska.
Manager Wacker presented some information on wages and wage
schedules. No action taken.
