Special Meeting
May 23, 1974
A special meeting of the Hutchinson Utilities Commission was
held on May 23, 1974.
All Commissioners were in attendance; also Manager Wacker.
The meeting was called to order by President Quade at 10:30 A.M.
Manager Wacker presented an invitation to attend a gas utility
meeting concerning intervening against a proposed rate increase
by Northern Natural Gas Company. The meeting to be held in
Minneapolis on Friday, May 24, 1974.
Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy and unanimously carried to send Manager Wacker and
Commissioner Filk to the above mentioned meeting with authority
to join the group in such manner most favorable for the benefit
of the Hutchinson Utilities.
Manager Wacker discussed the electric generating capacity with
projection for future needs. No action was taken at this time.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner
Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk and unanimously carried to ad-
journ the meeting at 11:15 A.M.
