August 12, 1974
All Commissioners were present; also Manager Wacker and Counsel
Peterson and Gilmer.
Meeting was called to order by President Quade at 2 P.M.
Minutes of regular meeting dated July 8, 1974 were read and
approved as read.
After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Filk,
seconded by Tracy and carried to contribute an estimiated
amount of $200,000.00 to the City of Hutchinson for the
1975 -76 fiscal year.
Report by Counsel Gilmer on the Worthington - Allis Chalmers
lawsuit. No real progress but action expected soon.
Willis Miller and LeRoy Christensen appeared concerning the
farm rate that was adopted during the last rate change. Their
request was for lower rates. No action was taken.
Counsel Peterson presented the Closing Statement on the nearly
acquired property in the Industrial Park. All documents
and papers were turned over to Hutchinson Utilities.
Manager Wacker presented information on Data Processing.
Commissioners requested more information.
Manager Wacker presented plans for the new building - more
study needed. Manager Wacker was instructed to enlarge the
size of the proposed remodeling plan.
Motion was made by Commissioner F'ilk, secound by Commissioner
Tracy and carried to pay Russell Dunning $150.00 for damages
to his property.
