12-09-1974 HUCMRegular Meeting December 9, 1974 All Commissioners were present; also Manager Wacker. Meeting called to order at 2 P.M. by President Quade. Minutes of regular meeting dated November 19, 1974 were read and accepted as read. Motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy and carried to correct the respective bills as outlined and correct the minutes in accordance. Upon asking for a sliding scale reduction, President Quade told them that the request would be taken under advisement. Mr. Don Swanson, Thor Bank and Carl Wardlou, from Associated Consultants, appeared to be present at the 3 P.M. bid opening. Mr. Richard Peterson, the Utilities Counsel, presented a request to release easements as necessary in the area of the Hutchinson Industrial Corporation Building. Motion by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy and carried to comply with the above request. Motion by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy and carried to lease a certain plot of ground to Harry Schlueter as outlined in the agreement. Bids were opened at 3 P.M. (As per attached Bid Tabulations.) Associated Consultants will review the bids and advise the Commission. Action will be taken at that time.
