All Commissioners present also; Manager Wacker and Counsel Peterson.
Meeting was called to order by President Quade 10 A,,,M,
The meeting was called to award contracts on the Utilities Building
remodeling project.
After discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded
by Commissioner Tracy and carried to accept the bid from Dammam's
Construction, Lester Prairie, Minnesota, in the amount of $86,722.00
for the General Contract Schedule I. Krasen Plumbing and
Heating, Hutchinson, Minnesota, for the Mechanical Schedule II in
the amount of $63,992.00. A & B Electric Hutchinson, Minnesota,
for Electrical Schedule III in the amount of $36,733.00.
Discussion was held on our agreement with the Village of Circle
Pines concerning peak shaving in the Gas Utilities. It was the
concensus of opinion not to allow further expenditures before the
Federal Power Commission; however, give informational support and data to
Circle Pines.
Motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner
Filk and carried to seek the services of Consultants to evaluate
our Electric rate structure . Manager Wacker was instructed to
recommend a firm to do this work.
