July 25, 1975
All Commissioners were present; also Mgr. Wacker, Ivan Larson, and
Don Schimp of the Utilities; also Bob Palmquist and Dave Schmidt
of Associated Consultants.
The meeting was called to order at 2 p.m. by President Quade.
Bob Palmquist of Associated Consultants presented preliminary
specifications for Furnishing and Erecting a Gas Turbine Generat-
ing Unit and Auxiliary Equipment - Project #75500 - Year 1975 -
for the Hutchinson Utilities Commission.
A motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner
Filk, and carried, to set the Bid Opening for 3 p.m. Sept. 8, 1975.
A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy, and carried, to petition the City Council to vacate Superior
Street from 4th Avenue SE to its northern end.
A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy, and carried, to rent the former Utilities Garage on Hwy. 7
to the Crow River Vocational Center as per agreement attached.
