Special Meeting
October 16, 1975
All commissioners were present; as was Mgr. Wacker and Don Swanson
and Bob Palmquist of Associated Consultants.
President Quade called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
Bob Palmquist of Associated Consultants presented the "Bid" tabu-
lations from the Gas Turbine bids taken on October 13, 1975. Dis-
cussion ensued on whether or not to produce and sell steam. Manager
Wacker was instructed to contact 3M Company on purchasing steam.
Discussion was also held on a program offered by the Energy Research
and Development Association concerning a steam turbine. Associated
Consultants was instructed to investigate this matter.
No action was taken on the "Bids" as presented. Further calculations
are deemed necessary in order to arrive at a conclusion. Associated
Consultants was instructed to continue its study and report at a later
date.
The meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
