All Commissioners were present; also Ralph Westlund, Duane
Osland, Orville Kuiken, Ruth Hakel, and Ivan Larson.
President Quade call6d the meeting to order at 2 p.m.
The minutes of the Regular Meeting of December 8, 1975, were
read and approved as read.
The following minutes of Special Meetings of December 11, 1975,
December 12, 1975, December 19, 1975, December 22, 1975, and
January 5, 1976, were read. On a motion by Commissioner Filk,
seconded by Commissioner Tracy, and carried, the minutes were
accepted as read.
The following bids were opened and read as follows:
Crown Life Insurance Co. represented by Ralph
Westlund of Hutchinson, MN, offered a Single
Premium at $23.64 and FAmily at $69.13.
Bule Cross -Blue Shield represented by Duane
Osland of Spicer, MN, offered a Single Premium
at $32.66 and Family at $83.05.
The bids will be evaluated by the Utility Commission Counsel
for their recommendation.
Orville Kuiken appeared concerning signatures still necessary
on the Circle -Hutch Contract. He was instructed to care for
the matter immediately.
On a motion by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy,
and carried, payment was authorized for Associated Consultants in
the amount of $3,824.94 for services rendered.
A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy, and carried, to delay payment of Krasen Plumbing & Heat -
ing's final bill of $3,135.00, due to pending problems with the
heating system.
Ruth Hakel and Ivan Larson presented a report on Fuel Cost Adjust-
ments. The purpose was to determine the difference by adding the
adjustment monthly instead of quarterly. No action was taken at
this time.
A motion was.made.by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner
Tracy, and carried, to pay McLeod Co -op Power Association $346.47
for a portion of three -phase line located on the east side of
Hutchinson,
