Special Meeting
January 21, 1976
All Commissioners were present; also Ivan Larson, Orville Kuiken,
Ruth Hakel, and "Butch" Wentworth of the Utilities.
President Quade called the meeting to order at 2 p.m.
Ivan Larson presented a report on fuel and purchased power costs.
Discussion took place on ways to control costs. A future meeting
will be held with the Mayor and /or Council to request a monthly fuel
cost adjustment to replace the three month period now in force.
Orville Kuiken presented information concerning future cut -backs in
natural gas from Northern Natural Gas Co. Orville was instructed to
get more information and report back to the Commission.
"Butch" Wentworth presented a report on average gas and electric
costs. After discussion a motion was made by Commissic
