01-26-1976 HUCMSpecial Meeting January 26, 1976 All Commissioners were present; also Don Swanson of Associated Consul- tants, D. J. Black Mayor of Hutchinson, and Ruth Hakel. The meeting was called to order by President Quade at 1:30 p.m. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss fuel cost adjustments which are set up in three month increments. It is the desire of the Commis- sion to make fuel cost adjustments monthly. After a presentation of facts by President Quade, Mayor Black suggested that these facts be presented to the City Council at their next meeting. Orville Kuiken and Ivan Larson appeared concerning operational costs in the Circle -Hutch contract. Labor costs were the prime concern, but no problem exists according to the contract. A motion was made by Commissioner Filk, seconded by Commissioner Tracy, and carried, that Briggs and Morgan be employed as Bond Consultants for our upcoming Bond Issue. A motion was made by Commissioner Tracy, seconded by Commissioner Filk, and carried, to increase the speed of the data processing printer and to lease additional core, also to be placed on the extended term lease plan.
