All Commissioners were present; also Ruth Hakel, Counsel Richard
Peterson, and Orville Kuiken.
President Quade called the meeting to order at 2 p.m.
Counsel Peterson appeared with questions concerning any output
contracts with Electrical Energy users. These questions were raised
by Carleton D. Beh Company in conjunction with the upcoming Bond Issue.
Orville Kuiken appeared with information concerning "firm gas" used
in.the production of electrical energy. Northern Natural Gas Company
is attempting to cause our "firm gas" contract to be cancelled in
favor of interruptible gas. More information was requested on the
difference in cost between gas and fuel oil.
The meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
