07-27-1942 HUCMSpecial Meeting
July 27, 1942
A special meeting of the Light and Power Commission was held
at the Light Plant office at 5 :00 P. M.
All members of the Commission were present. Supt Strohmeier
was also present.
Motion was made, seconded and unamously carried that a pay-
ment of $10,000.00 be made to the Busch- Sulzer Bros., Diesel
Engine Company as part payment of balance due them on contract for
Diesel Engine.
Miss Grayce Falconer, bookkeeper, appeared before the
Commission and stated that she had been offered a position that
would pay her more money than she was now receiving but if the
Commission would increase her salary to 100.00 per month she
would stay here. Otherwise she felt she should accept the position
that she had been offered.
