01-08-1945 HUCM254 Monthly Meeting January 8, 1945 The regular monthly meeting of the Light and Power Commission was held at the Light Plant office at 5;00 P. M. All Commissioners and Supt. Young were present. The minutes of the December 4, 1944 meeting were read and approved. Motion was made and unanimously carried that bid of Sterling Electric Company of Minneapolis for enlarging switchboard and running another feeder cable to the REA substation be accepted, also new cable to replace present over head line is to be installed at the same time. Motion was made and unanimously carried that Type LM derrick and necessary equipment be purchased to equip the new GMC truck for setting poles.
