Old Business A.Tours- Julie reported that the last tour attended a Christmas pageant at North Heights in Arden Hills and was without incident. She will be hosting a trip to Olivia in January to enjoy “Potroast on the Prairie” and visit a restored church. This trip is nearly full. A visit to the Old Log Theater to see “Dixie Swim Club” is on tap for February and currently has 31 participants. In March we will be heading to the Paramount Theater in St. Cloud to see the Kingston Trio perform and this trip currently has 37 people signed up. A trip to Macy’s and Bachman’s for flower shows is being planned for April. May brings a visit to the Plymouth Playhouse and June will involve a tour to Target Field for a Twins game. Another group will travel to Spicer in July for a cruise on Green Lake and August will provide this year’s Mystery Tour. Julie has other events in the preparation stage through the end of the year. B.Update on Programs- September reviewed the various programs that were held in 2009 and summarized them with financial and attendance reports. Dances are big concern as attendance is dropping and these events lost money for the year. There is the possibility that we may cut back on the number of dances to try and create greater numbers for the remaining ones. The Fellowship dinners may have to go up by one dollar to cover increased costs. Bone Builders is looking for an additional day at the Center as attendance has been spectacular. The movies continue to be popular as September attempts to mix classics with newly released shows. She would like to get ideas on how to get more men involved at the Center and is always on the lookout for programming to their liking. V.New Business A.Other- No new business was presented. B.Board Members for 2010- Cliff Swanson and Louise Jessen began serving new three year terms. VI. Adjournment: Cliff made a motion to adjourn at 11:15am with a second from Rick. The motion passed.
