There was not a quorum of members present.
The group met with Lyle Kratzke of TKDA Engineers. He is taking the place of Jerry Peterson,
who has worked on the project for the past couple of years. Lyle wanted to introduce himself to
the group.
Lyle informed the group that both federal and state funding for Phase II has been approved. Lyle
went over a general description of the project, including its proposed timeline.
Lyle informed the group that Mike Wassman, TKDA will be the project engineer for Phase 11
construction. Both of the originally identified low bidders, Mathoweitz Construction and Gopher
State Contracting will be doing the civil and building work, respectively.
The location and design of the fueling system will need to be reviewed. There is often a need for
more than one aircraft to be at the fueling island at one time. One of the examples given is when
airplanes carrying skydivers are refueling.
Some items of maintenance were discussed.
