Hutchinson Police Commission Minutes
The Hutchinson Police Commission held a meeting on Tuesday October 19, 2021 at the Hutchinson Police Station.
Present at the meeting were Chairperson Todd Brandel, Commissioner Kim Pearson, and Chief Tom Gifferson.
Call the Meeting to Order:
Chairperson Todd Brandel called the meeting to order at 4:45 p.m.
Approval of Agenda:
Chairperson Brandel asked if there were any changes to the agenda. Commissioner Beilke made a motion to accept
the agenda, seconded by Commissioner Pearson. The motion carried unanimously.
Approval of Minutes:
Chairperson Brandel asked the Commission to approve the minutes from the August, 2021 meeting. Commissioner
Pearson made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Beilke to approve the meeting minutes. Motion carried
unanimously.
Staffing Issues:
Chief Gifferson informed the Commission that Brenton Larson had started field training.
Chief Gifferson informed the Commission that three conditional offers of employment had made for Part-time Hospital
Security Officer.

Adjourn: Commissioner Beilke made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Pearson, to adjourn the meeting. Motion
carried unanimously. Time of adjournment 4:50 pm.
